Discover a sanctuary of tranquility within our meticulously designed hotel rooms in Laguna Beach. Each room at Hotel Joaquin is a personal retreat, crafted with natural materials and a serene aesthetic that reflects the surrounding coastal landscape. From the soft textures of hand-woven textiles to the warm glow of custom lighting, every detail has been thoughtfully considered to provide a restful and restorative experience, offering a unique departure from the ordinary.
The hotel features 22 individually designed guest rooms, each with its own character and layout. While we cannot guarantee specific room types, we will always do our very best to honor any special requests. All rooms feature Italian linens, Salt & Stone bath amenities, an in room minibar, and a record player for guests to enjoy during their stay.
Classic Room
Our Serra, Thalia, and Liyah rooms are considered our Classic rooms with all 3 being in close proximity to our lobby and Saline bar. Each of these rooms features either a King or Queen bed. Open concept bathrooms with marble vanity and hand painted tile shower. All rooms feature Italian linens, Salt & Stone bath amenities and record player.

Classic King ADA
Our Motu ADA Room offers 330 square feet of open, thoughtfully designed space with easy circulation throughout. A large chaise lounge creates a comfortable spot to relax, while the open-concept bathroom features a hand-painted tile shower, grab bars, and accessible fixtures for a seamless, ADA-compliant stay. All rooms feature Italian linens, Salt & Stone bath amenities and record player.

Deluxe King
Our Jardin, Citron, Olivine, Areca, Azur, Cress, Sel, Cote and La Lune rooms are considered our Deluxe rooms with each room having it’s unique edge to our classics as some have more space, a premier location, or an overall superior look and feel. Some offer a partial ocean view. All come with a marble vanity and hand-painted tile showers. All rooms feature Italian linens, Salt & Stone bath amenities and record player.

Our Barto, Soleil, and Maree rooms are considered our Joaquin King as they are a premium in location, space, bath amenities and more. Barto has a private balcony and dual vanity while Soleil and Maree have a Juliette balcony with ocean views. All rooms have a bathtub and hand-painted tile shower. Our Perche, Mer, and Ciel are considered our Deluxe King with Ocean View as they are perched at the top of the hotel overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Shaw’s Cove. The rooms all have vaulted ceilings, marble vanity, bathtub, and hand-painted tile shower. All rooms feature Italian linens, Salt & Stone bath amenities and record player.

Our Auric, La Vue, and Shaws are considered our favorite rooms on property. Each are unique in what makes it the best as Auric has a private balcony to enjoy the full ocean view as well as a bathtub. Shaws is considered our biggest room with both garden and ocean views. La Vue has the only giant picture window with a premium location for ocean views. All 3 rooms have vaulted ceilings, marble vanity, and hand-painted tile shower. All rooms feature Italian linens, Salt & Stone bath amenities and record player.
