House Rules

GUARANTEE & CANCELLATION POLICY:

A valid credit card is required to reserve a room. A one night deposit will be charged at the time of booking.

Reservations may be canceled without penalty by 3:00 p.m. PST at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date. Cancellations made after this deadline will result in forfeiture of the one night deposit.

Reservations booked under the Advanced Purchase Rate or other special offers, including limited time offers and last minute specials, are fully prepaid and non refundable.

Reservations of four or more rooms are considered group reservations and require a separate group contract. Group reservations may be subject to separate deposit and cancellation policies. Hotel Joaquin reserves the right to cancel or reprice reservations that are found to be part of an undisclosed group block or event.

RETREAT POLICIES:

All guests must be 18 years of age or older to check in and stay on property.

Hotel Joaquin is intended to be a peaceful and quiet retreat. We kindly ask that all guests keep voices at a respectful level so that everyone may enjoy their time with us.

Check in time is 3:00 p.m. and check out time is 11:00 a.m.

Maximum occupancy per room is two guests. 

Serenity is our greatest luxury. For the comfort of all guests, speaker phone conversations, FaceTime calls on speaker, and other amplified personal audio are not permitted in public areas.

Parking for one vehicle is included in the nightly optional resort fee. Each reservation is allotted one parking space. Additional vehicles must be parked off property or will be subject to a $30 per day charge, subject to availability.

No outside alcohol is permitted on property. Any alcohol brought onto the property will be stored until check out.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on property. Smoking in guest rooms will result in a $250 cleaning fee charged to the credit card on file.

The bar is room charge only. Cash and credit cards are not accepted at the bar.

Only registered guests of Hotel Joaquin are permitted to use the hotel facilities.

Personal outdoor amplified music is prohibited at all times. Portable speakers are not permitted poolside or in the patio areas.

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Please note that we do not have televisions or telephones in our guest rooms.

We are happy to accommodate well mannered dogs under 30 pounds for a non refundable fee of $100 per pet. A maximum of one dog is allowed in each guest room.

Late check out is based upon availability and may be subject to a day rate.

One key is provided for each room. Missing room keys will incur a $100 charge to the credit card on file.

Our heated pool is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Late night swimming is not permitted. There is no lifeguard on duty.

Glass and coolers are not permitted in the pool area.

Parties and gatherings are not permitted unless previously arranged with our events team.

Photography and video shoots are not included with overnight stays. All shoots must be pre approved and may be subject to a fee.

Outdoor common areas close at 10:00 p.m. The living room and lobby area close at midnight.

All unclaimed lost and found items will be donated to a local charity after 30 days.
