We have indoor meeting space for up to 20 people conference-style, in addition to ample outdoor event space for up to 45 guests. Your group can come together in our meeting space for 20 or break out into a variety of spaces that are conducive for team-building activities. Brainstorm in our cozy living room, do some bonding at Shaw’s Cove, or take part in a nighttime group meditation.

A Hotel Joaquin Proposal
Pop the question at our romantic retreat! New to our offerings, couples can now book a Hotel Joaquin Proposal Package which includes a proposal set up in our courtyard, sun deck, or privacy of your own room on a Juliet balcony accented with rose petals, one-hour photo session, and a champagne toast to celebrate the moment.

Hotel Joaquin Elopement Package
All you’ll need to do is book the package 45 days in advance, and we’ll provide you with a photographer, rose petals, and a champagne toast for you and your guests (2 maximum).

Not only does Hotel Joaquin have stunning views, intimate courtyards, and photogenic interiors, we’re also steps away from Shaw’s Cove and a quick drive to downtown Laguna.

Retreat Sample Itinerary

Day 1
4 p.m. – Guests arrive and check in
6 p.m. – Welcome cocktail reception with passed hors d’oeuvres at the pool
7 p.m. – Farm-to-table dinner with wine pairing on the veranda
9 p.m. – After-dinner cocktails and charades in the living room

Day 2
8 a.m. – Yoga at Shaw’s Cove
9 a.m. – Group breakfast at Saline
10 a.m. – 3 p.m. – Breakout session with working lunch
4 p.m. – 7 p.m. – Sunset Duffy Boat ride in Newport with scavenger hunt
7:30 – 9:30 p.m. – Dinner at the Cannery on Balboa Peninsula

Day 3
8 a.m. – Guided hike to “Top of the World” and group photo session
10 a.m. – Breakfast at Saline
12 p.m. – Guests check out and depart

Our pool provides a stunning outdoor event space, where ocean views and Mediterranean-inspired design create a laid-back yet luxurious atmosphere.
